Meg is an award winning and festival screened filmmaker. Her recent short documentary, “Faces of Tomorrow,” about a medical group that specializes in facial reconstructive surgeries for children in Ecuador, premiered at the 2009 Sacramento Film and Music Festival. It won Best Documentary at the 2010 Fundacion Octaedro Film Festival and it was nominated for a Maverick Movie Award. Meg’s claymation video, “Imagine,” placed 3rd out of 1,100 entries in Moveon.org’s contest, “Obama in 30 Seconds.” Over 4.2 million people voted for the winners and her entry currently has over 130,000 hits on youtube. She also won a concept contest for AMP Energy Drink, where her concept will be made into a viral commercial campaign.

Behrooz is a talented musician, with extensive experience in World Music. He is currently developing a number of music documentaries. As well as a feature film about the life and struggles of a young female musician in Los Angeles. He is also an experienced photographer.

Since 1991, Karen has been a Partner in the Entertainment Department of Pryor Cashman LLP, where she works primarily in the Film Finance and Production Group and heads the LA office for the firm. Ms. Robson has also produced feature films, Somewhere in the City and Paris. His features and documentaries have been shown at the Sundance, Raindance, Telluride, Tribeca, Edinburgh, Chicago, Houston, and Taos Film Festivals winning several honors. His commercials and documentaries have won Silver Lions from Cannes, a BAFTA (British Academy Award), Peabody Awards and Cable Aces.

Afshin Javadi has been a Director of Photography since 1987 and has worked on numerous commercials, documentaries and feature films. Afshin has been keeping up with the fast-paced technological changes of his field, being one of the first DPs to understand the merits of digital cinematography, utilizing High Definition cameras from their early conceptions, and now the Red cameras. Afshin still continues to shoot certain projects on film and is a very accomplished steady cam operator. He recently completed “the Greatest Journey” in 70 mm IMAX on location in Saudi Arabia.

Ramin Niami directed his first feature film in 1997, Somewhere in the City, starring Sandra Bernhard, Robert John Burke, Bai Ling and Peter Stormare, which was screened at over 25 international film festivals. It was released theatrically by Artistic license and was shown on HBO and Cinemax. Niami has worked as a director and producer in the US, UK and Europe on over twenty television documentaries, dramatic shorts and television commercials, many of them broadcast by the BBC, Channel Four, PBS, as well as many others.

 

Niami also produced Amir Naderi's feature film, Manhattan By Numbers, which appeared in many prestigious film festivals such as Venice, Toronto and New Directors / New Films (New York).

 

His last feature film, Paris, starring Bai Ling, Chad Allen, and James Russo, premiered in competition at the Tribecca Film Festival. It was released by DEJ and 20 Century Fox Home Video. It was also shown on Showtime and TMC. Niami is slated to direct his next feature film, We Called It Persia, a European co-production with Har Films and Starfield Productions.

Michelle has acted as director of photography on several documentaries, including Diagnosing Difference (2009), screening at Frameline 2009.  After earning her B.A in cinema studies at San Francisco State University in 2006, she was selected as the Departmental Honoree of her Graduating Cinema Class.  She recently relocated to Los Angeles CA, to continue her dual careers in cinematography and directing. She recently completed her first feature length documentary about San Francisco’s drag legend, Vicki Marlane, entitled “Forever’s Gonna Start Tonight.”
